What can I say about myself? I grew up on the farm in the middle of nowhere in the Panhandle of Texas with aspirations of doing something great. I have always been a creative personality. In elementary school, I fancied myself an inventor. In junior high and high school, I favored the arts more. After high school, I went to college and obtained my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sculpture, while idealistically thinking I could make a living with an art degree afterwards. After meandering around for a while I luckily obtained an apprenticeship with Jesus Moroles, the granite sculptor.
After that experience, I found a job as a machinist and have been working in that field ever since. It has vastly informed my mechanical artwork and vice-versa. During working as a machinist, I have continued my artwork in the off hours and designed such things as the Bottle Opener Ring and Robotagami. I have had success with selling artworks such as my Homage 1.0 to entertainment figureheads as Gabe Newell, of Valve Software.
I hope to continue making artwork and inventing for the sheer joy of it.
